COME OUT THIS YEAR ON MAY 16, 2020!!!
BRINGING AWARENESS TO CHILDREN EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS
USATF Timed and Sanctioned 5K Race
The Jamon Education Foundation is sponsoring Logan's Run, its fifth annual 5K Race, 1 mile walk, and Children's Fun Run, on May 16, 2020.
The source of inspiration for this run is Logan, a former Jamon student, who was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis in Spring 2014 at the age of 3. At that time, Logan lost the ability to walk and was only given a 33 percent chance to walk again. By Fall 2014, Logan took her first steps and quickly progressed to running!
Watching Logan’s courage and determination has been a blessing and a lesson for us all. Our goals for this run are to inspire others through life’s hurdles and to foster an awareness for children experiencing homelessness. Proceeds will go towards Jamon Montessori Day School's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) program and directly support children in Montgomery County Maryland experiencing homelessness.
